About the event
Many people are struggling to get enough sleep, whether it is due to stress, children, health, menopause, or other reasons.
Sleep is when our bodies relax and repair, when our brains process information and resolve challenges, a lack of sleep can impact how we eat, our decision-making, our ability to cope, and it could lead to other, more serious health issues.
This workshop looks at ways you can use nutrition (through both what you bring into your diet, and what you might want to reduce) to aid better sleep, how relaxation techniques such as yoga, mediation and mindfulness can support, and what self-care or lifestyle changes you could make.
Using evidenced insight into the different things that can stop our ability to sleep well, we explain how your body works, and responds, to both what is going on around it, and what you choose to put in it, so that you go away with a toolkit of tips and tricks to use at home.
Hosted by Sonja Colman, a nutritional therapist, health & nutrition coach, and Caelia Butcher, a transformational breathwork, yoga and meditation practitioner. We bring our combined knowledge, experience and research together, to give you a fully holistic experience.
